What are the types of contact lenses?
  • Bifocal Contact Lenses: provide both near and distance vision correction.
  • Coloured/Special-effect Contact Lenses: give eyes subtle, dramatic, or theatrical changes.
  • Disposable Contact Lenses: replaced quarterly, monthly, fortnightly, weekly or daily.
  • Extended Wear Contact Lenses: for safe overnight wear.
  • Silicone Hydrogel Contacts: can breathe six to seven times more oxygen than previous lenses.
  • Speciality Lenses: for patients who have special conditions, such as dry eyes, keratoconus, post-refractive surgery, and presbyopia, etc.
  • Toric Contact Lenses: provide correction for astigmatism.
  • Traditional (reusable) Contact Lenses: replaced every six months or longer.
